Grilled Nectarine Oats

Have you tried grilling fresh fruit before?
It creates a whole new flavour and texture! I love the addition of grilled nectarine to a simple overnight oat recipe.
Grilled Nectarine Oats
Serves 1
Ingredients
For the overnight oats:

1/2 cup of rolled oats

3/4 cup yoghurt
-
1/4 cup milk
-
1/2 grated apple
-
1/2 tsp each of sunflower and pumpkin seeds

1 tsp chia seeds
-
1 tbs chopped walnuts
For the grilled nectarine:
-
1 nectarine
-
1 tsp maple syrup
-
1 tsp coconut oil
Method
-
For the oats mix all ingredients together in a container or bowl. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight

Slice nectarine into 8 and grill over low-medium heat in a fry pan with maple syrup and coconut oil, turning to brown both sides
-
Serve with oats
