This privacy policy sets out how Talia Cecchele Nutrition (TC Nutrition Ltd) uses and protects any personal information that you provide us. 

 

Talia Cecchele Nutrition is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using or subscribing to our services, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy. WHY WE COLLECT YOUR DATA:

We collect your personal data because you give us consent to do so, in order to provide our nutrition and dietetic services through the TCN Clinic consultations and to send information via our mailing list.

WHAT WE COLLECT:

We may collect the following information:

• Information in relation to the subscription (name & email address), registration and consent forms

• Information regarding your health and factors affecting your eating and condition as provided by you through the pre-assessment form and outcome measures (EDE-Q) for individual consultations and groups

• Clinical information provided by reports from other health professionals for individual consultations and groups

• Further information you provide us during the consultation, homework activities, reflection forms and any other forms of information shared with consent

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER:

We require this information for the purpose of:

• Professional clinical record keeping of client information

• Sharing information with relevant health professionals

• Delivering marketing and events communication

• Internal research and development, outcome measure analysis, polls and surveys

• Certain special circumstances, such as compliance with legal obligations, meeting audit obligations or for other legitimate purposes.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Communication with you:

When you contact us using email, a contact form on our website, via social media, or by any other method, we will use this information to reply to your message and to respond to your request.

 

Mailing list:

We operate a mailing list to send you information about us, news and offers. You can sign up to the mailing list from our website. If you wish to change your email preferences or unsubscribe from the mailing list, you can do so by clicking on the “update preferences” or “unsubscribe” links in any newsletter we send you, or by contacting us using the methods described below.

Technical Uses of your Information:

Our site collects data about visits to the site in order to optimise our site, as well as to promote security by checking for unusual activity, hacking attempts, and other potential threats. The data collected also facilitates internal operations such as troubleshooting, data analytics, and research and testing. Data about visits to the site are generally anonymous or pseudonyms. We may use Google Analytics or a similar service to track visits to the site. More information about Google Analytics can be found on the Google Analytics website.

 

SECURITY

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place encrypted electronic systems and standard operating procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

AI DATA PROCESSING

To keep your data secure, the TCN team do not use AI tools for communication purposes or within dietetic sessions. This is to ensure that there is no breach of GDPR legislation. If we were to start to use AI note-taking tools which require recording of dietetic sessions, informed consent will be obtained and specifics regarding the name of the tool, which data is processed, why and safeguarding will be included as part of the consent process.

AI tools including Chat GPT, Gemini or Claude will occasionally be used to generate content ideas (e.g. social media or blog posts). 

CONTROLLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will not distribute, sell or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your explicit permission or are required by law to do so.

You may request details of personal information, which we hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you would like a copy of the information held on you please contact Talia Cecchele, Data Protection Officer, at info@taliacecchele.com.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible at info@taliacecchele.com. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

If you would like to make a complaint because you believe that we have violated data protection legislation or due to the way that we have handled your personal data, you  have a legal right to complain to us. Please submit your complaint via email to info@taliacecchele.com and ensure that your contact details are up-to-date so that we can respond to you.

We aim to acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and we will aim to provide a resolution within 28 working days. If more time is needed to address your concern, we will keep you informed of the progress and any outcomes.

There is currently no timeframe outlined in the data protection legislation to deliver a response and outcome to you, due to the varying complexities of a complaint.

If you are not happy with the outcome, you can ask us to review the complaint further, or you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), to send a complaint. You can legally complain to the ICO at any time during which the complaint is being reviewed. ​​

HOW YOU CAN WITHDRAW AND REQUEST TO BE DELETED FROM OUR FILES

Please be aware that it is required by law and HCPC Code of Conduct that treatment records are kept for eight years from your last contact, After a period of 8 years from last contact, your records will be destroyed unless you request otherwise.
