Pink Porridge

I love adding foods that make my meal colourful and fun! The more colour a meal has the more likely it is higher in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. If you really want to make breakfast fun, you could make one serve of standard porridge and another of the pink porridge and serve them to make two-toned porridge in the same bowl!

Pink Porridge

Serves 1


  • 1 banana, sliced

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup mixed berries

  • 3/4 cup milk of choice

  • 2 heaped tbs Greek yoghurt or kefir

  • 1 tbs coconut flakes

  • 2 tsp mixed roasted seeds


  1. Heat a small pot over medium heat and add coconut oil

  2. Cook banana rounds for 1 minute on each side until brown, set aside

  3. Using the same pot, add oats, berries and milk, Stir for 2-3 minutes until creamy

  4. Pour into a bowl and use remaining ingredients as toppings
