Sweet Potato Pizza Dough

I absolutely love pizza! Homemade pizza is a staple in my house. I love to make it on a Saturday or Sunday night and enjoy it with a glass of wine. Pizza is always fun to make with a group of friends or family as everyone can choose their own toppings.
Usually I use Lebanese bread as a base, but this week I felt a little creative and whipped up this super easy homemade dough using just 3 ingredients!
Sweet Potato Pizza Dough
Serves 1
Ingredients

1/2 cup mashed sweet potato

1/2 cup plain flour, plus extra

2 tbs Greek yoghurt
Method

Preheat oven to 180°c

Mix potato, flour and yoghurt in a bowl

Once combined, add an additional 1.2 tbs of flour at a time and knead using your hands until the dough is no longer sticky

Roll out using a rolling pin, remembering to flour the surface so it doesn't stick

Transfer to a pizza tray lined with baking paper

Pierce the base a few times with a fork and cook for 5 minutes

Remove base from the oven and add your pizza toppings (I used passata sauce, baby spinach, mushroom, capsicum, pineapple, olives and mozarella cheese)

Return to the oven and cook as normal
