Peanut Butter Bliss Balls

Bliss balls are one of my favourite snacks to make in bulk on the weekend and freeze to use when needed throughout the week. These bliss balls don't contain dried fruit so if that's your preference then this recipe is for you! Bliss balls are high in energy and protein so are also great to have after a workout or a grab and go breakfast. 

Peanut Butter Bliss Balls

Makes 10-15

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup almond meal

  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 2 tbs maple syrup

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method

  1. Blend oats to a flour-like consistency

  2. In a bowl add oat flour and remaining ingredients

  3. Combine well, adding 1-2 tbs of hot water at a time to soften if required

  4. Roll into balls using hands

  5. Roll in extra coconut to decorate (optional)
